VBOA Spring Parts Day and Autojumble

At today’s VBOA committee meeting it was decided to reduce the autojumble stand prices for the above event as follows:

An autojumble pitch of up to 25x25 feet, £15 (was £30 in 2005/6).

A “pasting table” size pitch for VBOA affiliated or associated clubs, affiliated or associated club’s members or groups of members, £5.

Hire of table(s), £2 each

We will be inviting autojumblers to take a pitch via a January mailing. Please notify your members of the advantageous rates applicable to them and encourage individual, group or club representation.

The existing entrance charges of £3 per head and children under-10 free will remain in place for 2007.

Tom Williams of MIG has agreed to assist with the administration of the event and we are actively seeking additional features such as a rolling road, the Vauxhall VXR race simulator, a car display and a bouncy castle for the kids.

Please do your best to spread the word. The new venue is apparently a cracker! For the record:

You are reminded that bona fide members of VBOA affiliated clubs can take a pasting table size pitch at this year’s event for just £5, half the amount we originally published. This is because the new venue is much cheaper than before.

We have written to all our regular autojumblers inviting then to take space at the similarly halved rate of £15 for a larger pitch. HOWEVER, WE HAVE NO WAY OF WRITING TO YOUR MEMBERS. If you are aware of anyone who is likely to take this offer up then please contact them and ask them to contact me on 01234 782222. There will be no general written booking form issued.
