VBOA spares day, flogg it and buy it! 11th March

As the heading suggests, we the committee will be having a stall at this event, one side will hopefully be our new club wear, cheeper, better quality and in new colours (at last).
If this hasnt tempted you into seeing what the club jumpers and T shirts look like. Then hows this, us the committee have booked a table, we`ve done the hard bit got up early and put the table up, all you have to do is bring that part you want to sell, plonk it on the table and flogg it while your there. All we ask in return is a small donation to our guide dogs for the blind appeal 50p will do! unless your feeling flush. This is your chance to meet and greet the committee members, point, laugh, make fun and make some money at the same time

things are rather snowballing on the bring your spares side of this event, now looks like we need to book another pitch. Thanks for all that have replied

Udate so far. The club now has 3/4 tables booked for this event, with some very nice viva firnza and magnum stuff. Also some other vauxhall stuff as well, eg chevette panels, manta recaro seats etc, just to get your mouths watering.
We even have a member doing a 700 mile round trip just to bring you some sexy spares, eg front wings for the HC

Before this event a night of curry munching and beer slurping will take place only a few miles away, a good chance to get booked into a local B&B and make a weekend of it.

So there is a ruff guide to whats coming, havent got a clue who`s stuff is what and i`ll not putting prices on things as i havent got a clue what people want for them. Be at the spares day to get a bargin, some of this stuff is well cool.

Do you need to be a member of the owners club to come (and buy things I can't afford?) and um, if you don't, what time's it start (since I'll have to drive up on the day)...?

kick off is at 10am, open to all vauxhall, opel and bedford like minded bods

Kate open to anyone, dont need to be a club members to come to the spares day, lots of people will be on hand to take all your money, both for spares, rubbish and bacon butties.

I will be there during most of the day, so am able to take new memberships fees as well, could be an intresting day with so many clubs there all doing the same thing.

So it`s nearly time. The club has 5 pitches, so there still more space for those wishing to flog thier bits.
Come along and see what you can find. All the pitches for this event have now been taken, making this a well supported event for the VBOA with lots of club and owners taking stands to sell the stuff. There is even a rolling road and car boot to look round.
