Any one thats done the hinge pins will know how good or bad the job gets with removal, i made a removal tool a while ago which has surpassed my expectations, but there lies the problem, while putting it through its paces the first pin (lower) i tried actually snapped when fully loading the tool, all the others have come out ok with one needed slight heat, yeh that helps should have done that on the first
As hard as ive hammered and heated the stuck pin i cant get it out, the only thing i can think of now is a diamond tip multi tool adapter (if available) to cut the lower half of the pin within the slight gap of the hinge, as space is very very limit.
Has anyone else been in this position and if so how did you overcome it?
cheers Bill
