HC Indicator box

Postby steff » Mon Mar 27, 2017 12:44 pm

So getting the electrics all working before MOT

N/S indicator won't function, took the full box unit out, wired a separate earth, still nothing, tried mving the bulb and it comes on, but only if you hold the bulb in place.
The spring at the back of the bulb holder has gone and the slots to hold the bulb down have worn away.

So has anyone replaced the bulb holder? or am I looking for a second hand complete indicator box?

Cheers

Steff

There are loads of 2nd hand boxes about -I can put one in the post for you - prob be a tenner - is it Lucas or the other one :?: - you would have to use your own chrome frame or I may have one with half decent frame.
