I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas and Santa brought you everything you wanted,
I've got some new door mirrors to glue on over the holiday and my wife was delighted to receive her surprise present... a 90 degree speedo adaptor.
Anybody else had anything nice?

Sally and I gave each other 1/2 a bottle of champagne - was a bit difficult to split but we managed to get to the bottom of it in the end Hic

We had a lovely Christmas.
Three days of partying with two families and my step-daughter's birthday yesterday. I need another holiday!
Happy new year everyone!

My wife was disappointed when her 'agreed' Chistmas present arrived this morning.....an nice new dishwasher....she was hoping for him to be tall dark and handsome and about 20 years younger than me but instead it was a Grundig from Currys...

On a more serious note - it was a lovely Christmas - albeit cold and snowy!
Received a variety of gifts - golf club/ canoe paddle/ scotch/ cordless drill. Thought you might enjoy the most mechanical one though - a steam engine - which used to belong to my father. (I think he picked it up at a sale somewhere) A lovely gift from my mother - I need fuel before I can fire it up.

What a brilliant pressie!! I had one similar when my brothers and I were kids, made by Mamod I think.
Used to use it with my Meccanno and it drove all manner of constructions.
Fire for the boiler ran on Meths or lighter fuel if I recall.
Happy days. Enjoy
