Viva HC 1972 interior Light cover

Postby Viva Man » Sat May 04, 2019 10:16 pm

Hello All,

I'm looking for an Interior light cover, mine has crumbled into bits.
If any one has a spare one or can direct me to a contact this would be great.

Many thanks

Hello Viva Man,

I assume it’s the clear lense you mean? If so, 1972nail on here had some made up, not sure if he still has stock or not though.

They are good items, I bought one a while back.

Yes, I have a couple in stock. They come as a kit with an LED bulb of the correct length. PM me for details.

Here's a couple of photos. It is a direct replacement for the original HC lens and made using a plastic combination to mimic the original slightly brownish yellow colour.

The Vauxhall originals turned very orange and crumbled, the heat of the bulb was a contributing factor. Mine are made with modern plastics and aupplied with an LED bulb to avoid any heat build up.

Just reaffirming there is a member's discount code for these in the member's only area of the forum and in the Summer edition of the club magazine.

The current price of these lens and LED kits are £23 inc UK postage. On quoting your membership number and the code you will get discount per kit on the normal price.

Send me a PM. I have none in stock at the minute but another batch is in the pipeline. Will be June at the earliest before they are ready.
