Where is a good place to source Big end and main bearing shells from and possibly cam shaft bearings?

The early 1256 engine had smaller journals than the later ones. They changed in about 73 to 74 ish I think so you need to know which you are looking for.

At present the crank , block and head is at my local engine place, he measured the journals and from his book said it was all standard although I don't know the size offhand. I reckon it may be a later engine as it is an ex Chevette unit I think as it had a Chevette gearbox on it. If they can't polish the crank it will have to be ground and we are just looking for source and availability of parts so we know a size to go for if grinding is required. He got Standard for me last year ok for my present engine.
