A SAD TIME

Postby griffonmark » Tue Nov 28, 2006 8:15 pm

I've waved goodbye to my beastly Griffon which was collected last week by a German guy living in Spain. What a really nice chap he was. At least I know he has gone to a good home. What do I do next? Anybody got a decent project, LHD or RHD?

Regards

Hi Ian, many thanks for your kind offer. Just how much saving does the car need? Would you object if I cut the roof off and painted it purple? Regards, Mark

Mark it is up to you what you do with the car once it is yours. Unusually though, the roof and tailgate are perfect on this car and that is extremely rare. The car needs the petrol tank which is included fitting and a bit of sill work allong with the usual things to recommission a car as it has been standing for a while. The engine sounds nice and runs well though. I had it running on my drive in July when the weather was hot for about 3 hours and it ran fine with no problem.

Some people have no respect do they Paul. I thought it was bad enough when I caught kids playing football on my drive when I came home from a day out with the family.
