You have 2 options. You can claim off the TP direct which will take longer but ensure you keep the vehicle probably without salvage categorisation, or claim off you own comp policy which will be quicker and may involve an agreed value. They may be awkward about you retaining salvage though.

Car looks a straightforward repair after a good pull on an alignment jig.

Don't forget you will have uninsured losses and I can asisst you with this if you need help.

All looks repairable to me I still have the rear quarter, and a rear panel. Finding a bumper would be difficult. Im still in France, returning on December 14th, call me then ?

quick update, looks like its not a write off, although its not confirmed yet. Repair shop was not daunted, and as long as I can get the panels from Adrian when he returns, I hope to have it all back to together early in the new year.
The annoying thing is I've just had to renew my insurance on the family lexus, and the policy has gone up considerably thanks to the accident in the viva; even though it was in no way my fault. Insurance gets my goat. Saying no more else the swear filter will explode.............

Since Paul doesn't seem to mind them being removed from his toy....

The bumper is straight, good (not excellent) condition but seems solid and mostly rust free. Bumper mounts and lamp are still attached to the car and so are yours for the picking.

Bit of an update for all you avid watchers out there. Finally the insurance company has decided to go ahead and get my Ha fixed. Hooray! So, monday its off to the body shop.
Will try to keep you informed of progress. Will be nice to be able to use the boot again !
