Hi,

Just having a look through the club forum, I saw the green HC only last week, along Broadwater Road which is where i work. ( i know this post is some months old now, slowly working my way through the forum :D ) does appear to be in good condition, have you seen the bronze HC estate and fairly early dark green HC saloon too? seen both of those recently, i lived in Tarring up until a few months ago, now in Angmering, are there any HB's left in Worthing other than my own i wonder?? looking for another HB at the moment Silver HB would be perfect!! but still no joy, my empty garage awaits!!

I know both of the owners of the bronze estate and the dark green saloon...they are brothers....nice chaps.

Its a 1970 Deluxe, 1159. it needs new inner and outer front wings, engine overhaul and a respray mainly. needs some new window rubbers and misc bits but its in fair condition not much rust, been garaged for 20 years.

Hi,

My cars an Oyster grey, 4 door SL 1159cc G reg, not been in use for many years, wouldn't take much to get back on the road, ( i'm a mechanic full time, so shouldn't have any excuses ) paints crazed and cracked so needs a respray, need windscreen rubbers, headlining and interior reassembling, i rebuilt the engine some years ago. the body is solid, it's only ever had a very small patch welded to the nearside rear wheel arch to sill joint, inner and outer wings solid around headlights but lower sections need repairs, i'm currently looking for a 'nice' example to buy....at a price no doubt, preferably with metallic paint finish, hoping to go to Billing in a couple of weeks time, see if there's any cars for sale, never been before i hear it's meant to be good??
