So swap the leads about on yours
Seriously, just because parts are new does not mean they work, check the bob weights move, check the vacc advance operates (suck pipe), swap the pulgs and leads about, check the rotor arm pickup is not loose.
The engine can be set to TDC by aligning the woodruff key on the crank with the line stamped into the front of the block. Then check the timing pully alignment again.
Check the follower clearance cold to ensure they are not miles out, check the compression again, hot if you can.
Check for air leaks on the inlet (WD40 while running, not into carb intakes as damages rubbers).
