Water water everywhere

Postby golden wonder » Thu Feb 17, 2011 4:57 pm

Hi All,
I took my viva through a car wash and I may have well have kept the windows down as water came in from both sides :-O. I took it to the garage and they say it needs new rubber door seals for around the door itself. I have seen a link in the other part of the forum to this website

http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk

I have a 1974 Vauxhall Viva HC

Do I need to buy this part http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1775-ru ... usion.aspx

Or can anyone tell me how to work it out please as I only have 2 and a half brain cells :-). Thanks

Hiya
Unfortunately the door rubbers are unavailable from anywhere. To make it even harder, they change to a different profile for the bottom part of the door. I have the same problem with my HC....i cant offer an alternative im afraid.
They sometimes turn up on ebay, but be prepared to pay top dollar for them.

OR ask uncle Danny our chairman for his customisation fix......Works 100% looks the part but you need to ask him for the details......
