Hey all hows it going here from vancouver island got a couple of english cars although most of my collection are GMs from north america.Got a british GM a Vauxhall Viva Deluxe 1966 with 72k miles on it and a TR3 1957 Thought id jump aboard to talk about my Viva love it and happy to finally be somewhere Viva is spoken. Always wanted one but it was supposed to be a 70 GT but these cars are super rare over here,Vivas were imported to north america for Pontiac Moters.Hoping to get in the groove here and get my car running sweet again.Car is complete and runs but has a low cylinder #1????? is that common for these cars? TOUGH to get parts here,Kip Moters seems to be the best bet so far. Thanks for having me TimbukImage

Welcome, very nice HA, 66 is one of the last of that model. Low Compression is probably due to worn rings, or valves, quite common.

*drools* My dad brought a GMC version of that truck home once, he was in charge of the motor pool for a while at work. It was the only one in the company, and usually brought the mid 70's or early 80's ones home with the straight 6 and 3 speed manual, or Suburbans. Got me hooked on GM's from an early age :-)
