Hello,

It's not a big restoration and i'm not mechanicer ^^

It's a Vauxhall Viva 1300cc from 1977

I look slowly for change HP on the original box :-)

And yersterday I go the the car for change oil engine...

I take off the oil screw... We mean some noise in the container...

We look inside ! and FUC****** Pffff some theets from ??? We don't know !
We think it's from a not important item inside the engine,... Because the
engine turn good now ... Have you a ideas where it from ???

I've buy today a other parts for after repair the electrical...

Tomorow i receved the seal for the oil carter, i change the oil filter, and i put the oil on the engine...

Looks absolutely brilliant! That engine did need a good load of paint, would be good to see the engine painted too, to match how smart everything else looks!

Excellent car and your doing a really good job, well done. The bits from in the sump. At first I thought bushes from dynamo/starter motor, but no way for them to get in the sump, then thought gear teeth from starter ring gear, but again, no way for them to get in the sump. They look like gear teeth from something, and any bits of metal like that in the sump isnt good news. I would be tempted to remove the sump and investigate.
