HC Battery

Hi all

I need a battery for my 1256 HC and need to know what battery to use by size / dimensions? The old one was discarded some months ago and like an idiot i didnt even think of giving it a second look

Did find one at Halfords that will fit the battery tray,but was too high and the positive and negative terminals were virtually on the bonnet along with the wing nuts for the battery clamp

Would any one that owns an HC have a look under the bonnet and if possible advise of a make or serial number of their battery,or even better if this has been raised before could they advise what unit to buy.

Battery is normally a 038,--
L239mm W133mm H180mm
the 180mm is where the clamp sits so overall height will be more

Terrys right its 038 makro sell them cheap as chips with 3 year warranty!!

205mm in total,but may vary slightly depending on make
