I think the reason Red Victor and possibly the Pro Sreet Pop have passed IVA is because they're actually one off new build vehicles. They're not 'radically altered' vehicles. There's a distinction.

I don't know about the Pro Street Pop, but Red Victor 3 only looks like a Victor. It doesn't use a victor monocoque shell. It's built around a new, bespoke space frame / chassis made by the owners and to which fibreglass panels are attached. It's not a radically altered Victor. I imagine the Pro Street Pop might be the same.

And again -

As per previous comments, IF the modifications are limited to the engine and gearbox and IF the body is unmodified this could be a nice VHI compliant(?) car.

I bet, after 18 months without a buyer, if someone were to turn up with £3k and a suitably despondent attitude to IVA compliance they could buy themselves quite a nice (fast!) roving banana Viva!

Ho hum...

Being an avid classic Vauxhall sales watcher, the longest time I have seen for a sale by a dealer - with refusal to reduce the price - currently goes to Cleevewood Classics in Bristol, who had their very nice white FD VX 4/90 on the market unsold at £12,995 between 2013 and 2018 - Five whole years! - having bought it on ebay in 2013 for £6000. Eventually it sold when values had risen after five years.

After 18 months I wonder whether this chap is a going to be a contender for that record? Some dealers simply sit on a car for years and wait for the market to catch up.
