Looks like a very rotten early (MK1) Firenza Sport SL, one I didn't previously know existed. It's also in the rare Garnet Starfire with only one currently on the road and one other in storage for restoration.

It would be a brave man who took that on as a restoration, but it could be done. :!:

Tempting being so close but really for spares unless you have a good shell to rebuild it.

It looks like it's already been pretty comprehensively cannibalised for spares. There's not much left, but the 3-spoke steering wheel, passenger door (if useable), rostyles and rear wheel arch spats are alone probably worth the £100 asking price.

DVLA check on FAD307K shows vehicles details could not be found, so, evidently off the road for a very long time!

Such a shame.

I know of a Snoot being rebuilt at the minute using the original shell which was in a similar condition to that one. Being a Snoot meant that many people would know the car, it's pre-restoration condition and the legalities of re-shelling. The owner has decided that to keep originality and the original shell would be rebuilt and fully documented. He used a 2 door saloon shell which had been stripped many years ago but the front half, chassis and floors were perfect. and an excellent donor for parts.
