Just saw this, the most shocking thing is the photo of it looking in mint condition in 1996 in that article in the last picture, how the hell did someone let it get that bad? I've seen ones that have been outside in all weathers for longer not be nearly as rotten. That's the most rotten one i've ever seen.

I agree, not a viable proposition unless you can do everything yourself.

It must have been stored in a really damp leaky garage for many years, why on earth would someone do that to a good car especially one so valuable and rare?

We're all often agape at the stupidity of people not looking after their cars.

Just think, if everyone had looked after their Vivas over the last 50 odd years there would still be about half a million of them out there (not including the ones crashed or stolen and torched!) instead of just a couple of hundred survivors.. :lol:
