This thing has changed hands two or three times recently.

It's not lawfully MOT exempt due to the heavily modified shell added to other modifications.

It's not even 'lawfully' a viva HB as you can see the bulkhead has been chopped out where the heater box should be, therefore it has officially lost its identity, and will need an IVA, which it will fail.... this car is scrap as it stands.

Yes i know, people are gonna think i'm a *Bleep* again, so be it, maybe i am.... but the current climate for electric vehicles plus the new government legislation regarding the sale of IC engined vehicles is only the first step to removing older vehicles off the road, soon we will find ourselves in a position where the ONLY classics allowed on the road will be those that FULLY comply to the VHI legislation....if at all....

This sort of chop job is destined for the crusher

As Marcus says a huge amount of work has gone into making someone's ideal HB Viva here, and I get how it might appeal to some fans of modified cars.

But as Mitch says, the only way you could use it is by lying to the DVLA and your insurers about its modified shell and 'historic' or PLG road tax status - by untruthfully declaring the shell unmodified - and thus invalidating your insurance.

The only other alternative would be to submit it with modifications for IVA - which would be hopeless - or to change the bodyshell back to historic standard.

I have an HB bulkhead that I would gladly donate FOC if anyone feels an overwhelming desire to return this car's shell back to historic unmodified standard.
