URGENTLY REQUIRED A FUSE BOX FOR A VAUXHALL VIVA HC 1972
PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP THANKS JASON

hi iv got no lights at all iv had the fuse box apart and all the fuses have power apart from no 4 iv put a curcit tester across and theres no power indecators work horn wipers etc but no lights im sure its the fuse box here s my number if you want to ring me tomorrow or tex with a price for fuse box cheers jason

Did you have the headlight switch on when testing fuse 4? Just thought I'd make sure as I remember it being on the light switch circuit when I wired in my front fogs. Could be wrong though. Have you checked everything possible? Headlight switch itself? Continuity tested wires etc?

also theres a thermal cut-out metallic strip in the drivers footwell thats wired into the headlight circuit - might be worth checking out (or chucking out)

I just put a normal blade fuse in where the metallic strip is as my headlights were flashing on the drive home from Scotland. Loads of people got out of my way on the motorways lol.

thanks to everybody for there input regarding my problem iv got the car out the garage today and it was the fuse thing under the dash i took it off and cleaned it put it back on and the light now work thanks for everybody who gave me advice very greatfull its all sorted now :)

I don't think I know of this metallic strip, which is odd seeing as my car is stripped with just the loom in it :?
