Rev Counter

7 dial dash. On tick over. Its sits around 800. As soon as I apply revs it goes to zero. Any ideas guys?

Coil wired back to front?

Engine will still run but the rev counter swings backwards!

The wire to the points snd rev counter go on the minus side of the coil and the ignition goes on the plus side.

Frustrating. Im thinking the rev counter is duff. Ill hot wire it as you said to eliminate the wiring loom

Fixed. Feed was on wrong side of coil.
