indicator problem

Postby ShaBro » Sat Apr 26, 2014 10:10 pm

This afternoon I've completed an internal wiring loom swap from a ribbon dash to 7 dial dash and everything works fine....... apart from the driver's side indicator, the front just wont light up, I've tried a new bulb all the connections and it seems like there is no voltage getting there, it worked fine before the change so I'm wondering if the new loom has a different pin on the fusebox connectors or something.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

All the indicator wires on the various looms use the same pins. Check that the wires in the fusebox conections are fully home. Sometimes the little barbs on the ends of the wires get broken off and the wire slips out of the plug just enough so that it doesn't engage with the pin.
