Flasher Unit

Postby Andrew Morris » Thu Jun 11, 2015 9:48 pm

Hi all,

Mixed messages, just need some help which indicator flasher unit I need. Did buy one 3 years ago off ebay but now no longer works. Put the old unit back on ,does work but painfully slow. The relay is for the indicators not the warnings (That works well)
Can anyone advise the part number etc etc. Oh 1978 HC

Thanks in anticipation

Have you checked all the connections to the lights for corrosion / tarnish / looseness?

Thanks for the reply,
I did think about that initially ,but the warning flashers work well. Would it make a difference?

I don't know, I've never had one with hazards. It does use a different flasher unit and a different supply route, so maybe if it is a contact issue that would narrow it down to an area of wiring that isn't common to the hazards.
