7 dail dash rev counter

I am not sure of the wiring of the rev counter. Anybody that can help me with that or wiring diagram?

My book lists three wires going into the tachometer - 50 (Black/white, presumably from the coil), 32 (Green), and 55 (Black). It shows them in that order, with the black/white wire on the far right as you look at the open end of the connector block, i.e. at the 3 o'clock position, the green in the centre, and the black at 9 o'clock. It's a while since I've looked at the actual connector though. That's from a HC OHC manual, I don't know if other models vary.
