Starter Solenoid

Postby gurrier » Fri Jan 06, 2023 5:22 pm

Hello all,
As a result of intermittent starting problems I sourced a replacement Starter Solenoid. The reason that I suspected the solenoid is that the spade connector on the body of the solenoid (arrowed) is tentenuously attached i.e. it is loose but remains attached to something.

The Durite 033500 Solenoid that I sourced does not have any spade attachment at this point (again arrowed)

Two questions and one statement:- Is the spade attachment at this location loose by design.
Have I finally managed to resize images
The Solenoid that I have sourced is the wrong one.
