Postby pbottomley » Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:51 am

UMM,

Kelly came around other night, seeemd the n/s rrear inicator was ON, and not flashing when the lights were switched on. Also when she put foot on brake pedal, rear light on nearside also went out!

How did i fix it? I puched the rear light and now it all works!!!!!

Only real downer now is that when looking at the rear lights i noticed the rear box has hole the size of a fist in it !!! OOPS. Glad i have a spare rear box

Oopps.

Spose you could have just checked the earth connection on the lamp. Its usually the reason lamps do strange things like that. Current will find a way to ground, even if its back up through another bulb.
Still when you change the lamp for one without a hole, I dare say it will go away. If not - check the loom connectors for corrosion and crut on contacts.

Cheers !!!
Tony :D
