possible ignition trouble

after breaking down yesterday am having trouble keeping the hb running for more than 5 seconds i have been told it could be the ballast resistor wire where abouts is this wire on the hb? i need to get it running to move it ta

On the coil

Hi
It's located on the ignition coil right side of the engine it's a long cylinder object. One of the wires (high tension) could have broken off!

the coil i have got on it says its a 12v ballast one so may be its that thats gone is there any way i can get a straight 12v feed from any where to power it
