Button near the ignition key

Hello, Just a quick question was wondering what the button is next to the ignition key is used for ? There is window screen and light switch there as well....

Hi

Gonna plead ignorance here - what model is that ???
HPF special or something - never seen a viva with a centre console ignition switch

Aha, answered my own question...... HB GT, but still not sure its factory. Somebody fill me in!

My Mk 2 GT has the same layout.... although no button ?
