heater 12v ceramic fan aircooled?

ok i dont know if this should be in this section but here go`s

has any one ever tried these and are they any good for demisting the front widows?
my heater needs taking out and serviced and not working at the moment,
ok i know they will not heat the car, but if i can get the windows demisted then i can use my car abit more often.

Yes, I bought one when our matrix got blocked on my wife's daily runabout.

Not much cop, I'm afraid. Maybe if you left it on about an hour before you got in the car you might notice a difference (and by that I mean clearing the windscreen - not the temp of the car)

Having said that, it was worth keeping on whilst driving because it did warm the car up a tiny amount.

Got them in Makro next week.

Although they've got timers in them and internal battery which charges via fag lighter.
