Good afternoon all,

I'm looking for a touch up pen for my 1977 Viva SYV 543S - the colour is Cardinal Red code 4RD - I've spotted it on a couple of web sites in Germany.

Just wondering if anyone has any information/knowledge to obtain in the UK.

Thank you for any help offered.

Malcolm

I just went to an automotive paint specialist and they mixed me up some cargo red (9RD)
It was still listed on their computer! !

Steven,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I'm not too far from you.

I'd be happy to support your paint supplier would you be able to provide their details?

Malcolm

Malcolm it was paint shop supplies at dragonville. ...a little unit on small industrial estate in between b&q and tesco ... I would Google it and give him a ring as it took about 20 mins on his computer to find it....cracking match though!! I doubt he would do a touch up pen though!! Lol. Ask his advise but Probs need to buy a 1/4 litre or so.....

Steve,

Often in Durham with work, worth looking up to get a decent match.

I like to support a business that is prepared to go the extra mile.

Thanks again

Malcolm

Steve,

I've had some cardinal red mixed and touched in a couple of chips on the bonnet edge, very pleased with the result.

Looks good matched and blended in lovely, never for a second did I think it would work very well.

Thanks.

Malcolm
