Dash Board Viva HC 1972 Black

Postby Viva Man » Tue Mar 22, 2022 12:59 pm

Hi,

I know this is probably a long shot. and pigs may fly. But does anyone have a Viva HC black dashboard without cracks in for sale?

Any other comments or advice welcome.

Many thanks

As you say, hen's teeth. But if you have a search around there are various threads about people having them repaired. I've seen covers available on eBay for example, and I saw someone on here sent theirs to a pro trimmer to be done. I've been watching a company called "Trimline Systems" on Facebook, as they've bought the machine to do this vacuum-coating of dashboards, but they've gone quiet recently.

Thanks Nail,

Interesting the repair side of your comments.
Although i have looked at the covers for the dash board, expensive and not good to put on. not sure about the stitching it may look bad or cobbled together.

HB I know but I had my tame upholstry guy do mine in leather. very pleased with the results and not unreasonable dollars (about $800 CDN IIRC)
