Parking Lamp

Parking Lamp

I've just changed the wing on my 1970 HB SL. The car had a parking lamp on the old wing. Does anybody know if this is original equipment? Lots of viva's I have seen don't have this, maybe it was specific to SL's or whatever? If it isn't original I won't refit as it is in quite poor condition (crazed plastic).

Parking lamp

This parking lamp is not a standard item. VX did not install such a device back in the 60's - 70's, so I expect it to be an after sales accessory.
