Alloys repair

Postby doss » Wed Nov 16, 2005 7:43 pm

Hi All
Anyone know if there is a product out there that can be applied to fill dents and pit holes on alloys. Its need to be some sort of liquid metal type product I think. I want to be able to bring it to a decent shine on the finish as the rims are polished and cant think of anything.
Any ideas?
cheers

Try some silver solder. I did this with an old set of Revos and it worked pretty well. I found that several thin layers worked best for deep gouges and its worth putting some grooves in each layer to help it stick. Good luck, its pretty fiddly.
