Hi,

Does anyone know the size of the copper sump plug washer on a 1256?

Sorry for the silly question but I've looked in the handbook and Haynes, searched here and the internet and asked my motor factors for help but I still can't find it.

hi,

not sure either until i change the oil on sparky. I was thinking that a piece of solid core copper cable from a bit of mains cable soldered into a loop would suffice as a replacement.

the soft copper would compress and seal so probably wouldn't even need flattening prior to fitting?

Will report back when i try it, with pics

Outer width 25mm,inner 20mm thickness 3mm.Thats what's on mine if it helps
