Interested in Viva project (HA)

I have recently had an offer of a viva body (not rolling shell) basically for free. The person who has offered it to me has previous experience in restoring an HA and so I feel reasonably confident in being able to restore it (with their help). However I was wondering firstly if anyone had the technical specifications availiable (such as curb weight, engine weight in particular), and secondly (although perhaps this may be seen as sacralige) what are good options for "reworking" the car to have IRS, Disc brakes and perhaps a more modern 4 cylinder (such as nissan CA18 or SR20). This would mearly be a project and is not an overly serious affair. At this stage i'm expecting just to restore the car to its original specification. Thanks for any suggestions .
