I really just shouldn't open boxes. Here goes tonight's pics:

(Not such a great pic of the second but, it is two brackets with rubber bushings in the centre of the bracket)

Thats the mounting brackets for the rear anti roll bar that fits on underside of boot floor  - the others are exhaust manifold to front downpipe seals.

OK friends, working on the GT again inevitably means a descent into cluelessness.

Honestly, more of my time is spent looking for parts than actually assembling them - and yes, I take pictures and bag things carefully - ! just put them in safe places!

At any rate, I will need your help as always figuring this stuff out!

Today's question:

what are these and where do they go?

thanks all!

Top pair are Castol Rod bushes with the spacer tube. The bottom ones with the washers were Anti Roll or Sway Bar bushes.

Are you sure David? Those top two look a little small for castor bushes to me, but a similar shape. Could they be top and bottom shock absorber bushes and tube? Washers look too small for castor arm washers, but too big for shockers.

The HB/GT castor bushes are smaller than HC castor bushes I believe, Mike. But they do look small even for the HB so they probably are lower front shock bushes and spacer. The washers are for the ARB outer bushes / drop link.

I tend to agree RE: Castor - the ones I have are much larger, but, front shocks have eyes top and bottom so don't need these kind of bushings? rear shocks maybe?

Yes, rear shock lower eye certainly a strong possibility for the top bushes in the pic and the other two with the washers may be the top bushes for the rear shocks but look too thick. The top rear shock mounting uses a washer and bush on either side of the hole in the body panel.

#2 - looks a bit like the gasket between the heater matrix and the valve?
