Since buying SXE758G ive noticed the oil warning light has been flickering on when at idle when the engine is hot, the engine runs sweet for the 10k it has covered and new oil and filter made no difference to the warning light, so a couple of questions, are the modern oil switch's any good? ie accurate, or would a nos be a better option and do these engines suffer from sludge in the oil strainers restricting flow?
As its a low mileage engine i dont think its likely to be worn bearings that are causing the problem but obviously need to deal with it asap.
