I believe Fred can source a recon unit for you. Or you can do the mod I did on mine

I'm just doing that same mod on my Firenza David, finally. As the temperatures drop, I wasn't sure of the anti-freeze strength so it made some sense to drop it all out and do the heater job at the same time. Trouble is, I can't stop myself cleaning and painting the various metal bits, and I have to replace the cardboard "fins" on the cabin air outputs as well.

I have s/h heater matrix assemblies which I have (complete ish in the black box) £30 + P&P £10 0r I have a recored matrix for £55 + £10 to club members (add £6 premium for non members)

Sounds like you have a bad local delivery person - I would have a word with their customer service.
R M it is then.
In contrast my local experience with R M is they take stuff back to the sorting office 8 miles away if I am not in or I don't get to the door fast enough - then I have to arrange for re delivery (min 2 days later) or pay 70p for it to be left at the local Post Office. Perhaps its one of those Post code lottery things :roll: :lol:
