Girling Type 14 Mk11 (mark 2) are used on the HB 1159cc with 8" discs. (these are rare) . Viva GT use type 14, for 10" discs, which is identified by the dimple on the side, which is "EXACTLY" the same caliper as used on the Herald. I own examples of both Viva GT and Herald cars. Some export Viva GT's had Lockheed calipers (same as Magnum) but they are interchangable with the Girling....you can take off old your Lockheed calipers and fit the arguably better Girling 14 type as straight swap. Advantage is that repair kits, pads, pin kits, fully recondioned units and even brand NEW Girling 14 Herald 1360 calipers are available now. (Note that Herald 948 are small calipers and are not the same.....its the Herald 1360.
