Ballast Resistor

Postby hbr341 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 6:49 pm

Hi guys
I think I may have found the problem with my HB 1256cc I was here a few weeks ago with misfire and breakdown I decided to change the ignition switch and the wire from that to the coil did it made no difference fitted another new ballast resistor today and it seems to have sorted things drove it 25miles in all conditions for over 1 hour did not miss a beat at all Before it would start hesitation and stop after 25 30mins every time so could that have been the problem all this time.

Regards Chris.

Good news.

By the way, you're in the latest issue of "Classic and Sportscar".
