Viva Running Hot

Postby Viva Man » Mon Mar 21, 2022 1:17 pm

Hello,

My Viva HC 1256cc has started to hotter than normal, not to the top of the dial but not far from it. It does get hot very quickly as well.
Any hints to this?

I'm thinking of thermostat, or probably a good clean out in water system. I hope its not the head gasket :(

Thank you

then likely themostat - water pump or blockage.

I don't think head gasket causes overheating I think overheating blows the head gasket so as long as you haven't let it really overheat you should be good
