HB Exhaust and PD Gough

Hi All,

I had the below exchange with Richard at PD Gough whilst trying to order an exhaust for my 1967 HB SL90. I couldn't answer his question and as the Viva is now in Switzerland I can't take it in. Has anyone got the answer to Richard's question please?

The book shows the patterns with the HC option used for the HB SL90.

As the pattern is 44mm
The the book is saying 35mm or would you prefer the bigger size and keep the front pipes as standard ?"

Malcolm I have a 1256 HC I can check tonight for you. I believe standard is 1.5" so 38.1mm

However I am led to believe DTV brought out a "sport part" exhaust for the HC which was 1 3/4" or 44.45mm perhaps that is where he is getting the 44mm from?

Just read this more closely and I see the exhaust you need measured is from an 1159. I'm not sure I have the correct exhaust system but I can check my spares and let you know.

Hi Malcolm,

I don't have the exact exhaust pictured in your catalogue but can confirm all my HC exhausts here are 1.5"
