Posted: Tue May 23, 2006 1:38 pmWhen I did the behind-the-flywheel core plug on my HPF a while back, I just rested the engine block on some corrugated cardboard to protect the paint, but kept it steadied by the engine crane to stop it going too far. It does have a few balance points when it's out of the car.
