Points gaps.

Postby Tigran » Sun Jun 11, 2006 12:25 am

Well I cannot find it in here so thought I would ask. Getting round to changing the condenser and points tomorrow - what should the gap be on a 75 1300 HC?

Many thanks for any help.

I think, I may be wrong, but off the top of my head, the gap should be, new points 22thou, old ones 20thou, as in thousands of an inch.

Definitely 22thou new, 20 thou old. Recheck after tightening the screw.
