I am amazed that a magazine would print a piece based on an unsigned letter from, presumably, sources unknown.

All is well and thanks to the help of CCW. Please see a print in the snippits section this week and a big letter from the club in next weeds editions.

A slight change of topic, but still magazine related, has anyone got the Jan issue of Retrocars? It was due out on the 7th dec. All the shops round here still have the dec issue on sale. The web site www.retrocarsmag.co.uk dosent seem to work either.

No, haven't seen it - last weekend they still had the one with the racing Cavalier on the cover. I don't buy it as much as I used to, but now and again it's quite interesting.

I've just phoned Future Publishing - Retro Cars Magazine has been closed down, hence the web site is no longer working and there won't be any more issues. Interesting that it's still all over the Future Publishing site in the list of "our magazines", but it's certainly gone according to the lady who answered the phone.

I thought Retro cars mag, was one of the better mags myself, shame if its about to fall over. :(

It had soem rather good articles about very intresting cars in its time, for example the three Vivas just a few months back.

Does that mean no Retro Car show at Santa Pod. Yes Retro was one of the better mags and i liked it along with Practical Performance. The write ups were good and they did not seem to be biased against any make of car.r
