I've used a DCD in the past and so did Bill Blydenstien but he later developed the Stromberg 175CD conversion which gave similar improvements in BHP and torque but better economy. When I first saw the Blydenstien 175 CD conversion on a Chevette I convinced a mate to modify a Stromberg manifold to accept a 1 3/4 " SU from a Marina/Metro 1275. It worked a treat and was a far nicer car to drive than mine with the DCD.
