I did ask guy and he said we got 24 on sunday some that were there sat only and more turned up on sunday.

Does a Viva bonnet being open attract Viva owners like flies in the manner that it does with Land Rover owners with an open bonnet Land-Rover? ;)

Yep always good to attract the punter - if it is my V8 they gather round with comments like it was made like it - or if you have the little engine - its " ooh look at the room you have to work on the engine
Don't forget modern engines are covered in plastic and pipes :roll:
I usually do a stint with the bonnet shut so you can appreciate the front of the car and better for photos - then have bonnet open to draw more interest :P

I attracted Gerry Johnstone when I had my bonnet open at a car run last year in Ballycastle.

I usually prop the bonnet partially open at shows, it's not photogenic but means that guys with belt buckles don't lean in to see how the bottom bolt on the starter was fitted.....
