Upload as an attachment and then place in line with the text. It's a bit of a 2 stage affair but works well when you get used to it.

There's a few threads on the Website discussion forum, have a search here. You can use Microsoft Paint to resize any photo to suit.

I think the maximum size you can upload is 400 X 600, you need to resize your pictures before you can use them, if I click on my pictures, it gives me an option to resize

Attachments seem to upload at any size.

I think the maximum forum image size is 800 x 600.
It's fairly easy to resize images using the 'paint' facility on Microsoft. Here are the steps -

1) open the image
2) click on the three dots on the top right corner of the screen …
3) a drop down menu will appear. Click on 'Open with'
4) another drop down menu will open. Select 'Paint' under the 'Other options' list and 'OK'.
5) the image will open in the 'Paint' programme - probably quite large. On the top left of the screen you will see a small 'resize' option. Click that. Choose 'resize by pixels' and change the pixel number from whatever it currently is to 800 horizontal by 600 vertical and press OK
6) Save the image as a new 'save as' image name eg, 'image 1 small'
7) You will find the new image in your gallery usually next to the original image. Upload as normal.

Hope this helps! :goodideasign:

Good explanation Colin.

Images have a maximum size as you say, but if you upload your picture as an attachment then the size doesn't seem to matter.

Here's a BIG image of my back garden from my hard drive.... over 2MB, uploaded as an attachment and placed in line with the text.

Here's another to show that you can do it more than once on the same post.

I've never been able to upload larger than 800x600 as an attachment?

Also I can only upload 3 pictures in any one post, but I've seen you post more David?
