BRACKETS

HI HAS ANY ONE GOT ANY LOWER FRONT SHOCK BRACKETS FOR MY 1975 HC ,AS I MANAGED TO BEND MY ONES.THANKS DAVE HC692

I think that most will be slightly bent as they are a common jacking up point. I know that mine were quite twisted but only took a twist or two to get them back in shape.

I can get one side in but not the other. Going to put the suspension back on the car and try that, I think the weight of the car will line up the bolt holes. Thanks for your reply

You're right, the bolt holes do need a bit of persuasion to get it all to line up. A bit of a twist usually get them all OK.

Yes, especially the castor arm end. I find that just putting it together loosely while up in the air, and then tightening things up once it's on the flat, can help. Quite a few of the suspension bolts (though not these) are supposed to be tightened up with the weight on the car in any case - top and bottom inner bolts in particular.
