Tonight's salvage hunt. Typical Viva fighting all the way and doesn't want to come apart without wringing bolts and damaging threads. :imsmiling:

More progress this morning, slow but steady. Front and rear windows out as well as centre console, window wonders, switches, hub caps and even fuses !!

Perhaps the holy grail of this entire operation, including the "air" and "heat" plastic sliders all intact !! This model also came with a bulb in behind the display. I'm assuming it came on when the lights did to make it easier to see the heater controls?

Annnddd off to scrap she goes. List of what I salvaged as follows: All running gear, rear axle, subframe, radiator, glass, door handles, arm rests, switches, heater controls and panel, window winders, wiper motor, heater fan, taillights, badges and even a 2 shilling piece!! Apparently these vivas make good Chinese fridges

Looks like there's only enough left to make a hinge for a Chinese fridge.

At least you were to salvage some parts.
